First Quarter 2010 Torchbearers Thursday Gathering Calendar
Testimonies from staff members Jon Wright, Pastor of Involvement, and Jon Sorenson, Director of Communications and Celebrate Recovery. The Crown College “Encore” group presents “Experiencing Christ”. Fred and Marlys Libengood would like you to come and be blessed with what God puts in your hearts through them. Fred was a soloist at Soul’s Harbor with Gordon Peterson from the 1960s through the 1980s. Our science museum is one of the few museums to display three sets of five scrolls each, for a grand total of 15. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness something truly remarkable.
Cost is $26.00, and includes the Omni Theatre presentation “Arabia”. Lunch is on you! The bus will leave Eden Prairie at 9:00 AM and Edina at 9:30 AM. Prepaid reservations are necessary; please call 952-224-3032 by Monday, February 22.April 24

The Torchbearers Spring Choir dates are as follows:
Practices: April 15, 22, and 29
Outreaches: May 6, 20, 27, and June 3 and 10
End-of-Year Potluck: June 24
The choir meets in the Guest Reception Room at 12:30 p.m. on the above dates.
Overview:
Grace Church has an active seniors group for adults 55+ called Torchbearers. Our "Thursday Gathering" meets weekly at 10:00 a.m. for singing, special music, educational videos, featured speakers, and an inspirational talk. This program is followed by a delicious meal together. Once a month we take a field trip to interesting sites around the metro area.
We also have several Adult Bible Fellowships that meet on Sunday mornings, weekly Bible Studies for men and women, an outreach choir, and more!
Our Torchbearers Choir ministers in the spring and fall to Senior Care facilities and performs for church-wide programs.
Our annual events include 3-day and 8-day motor coach tours, our "Salute to Veterans" program, the very popular Old Fashioned Hymn Sing, and the Christmas Gathering.
