MOPS is an international non-profit organization providing a Christ-centered, caring ministry for mothers of children aged birth through kindergarten. MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, and experiencing God's love through relationships and resources.
A typical MOPS meeting includes an informal time of treats and conversation followed by an instructional time. Subjects relating to womanhood, marriage, child-rearing, and relationships are presented from a biblical perspective. Small discussion groups provide honest interaction, deepening friendships, and spiritual enrichment.
Meetings:
Day: Every other Tuesday morning starting September 22, 2009. (An optional Bible Study will be offered on the opposite Tuesday. More details below.)
Time: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Where: Room M152
During the program, children are cared for in the fun and educational MOPPETS program.
Fees:
Yearly fees for the 2009-2010 MOPS are $85. Your fees cover all costs for both you and your child(ren). This includes an annual MOPS-to-Mom Connection subscription, childcare, crafts, special features, bi-monthly newsletter and hospitality expenses.
Fee Breakdown:
- $25 Registration fee (due upon receipt)
- $30 Semester one fee (due by October 15, 2009)
- $30 Semester two fee (due by February 15, 2010)
Because we charge only a modest fee, we require each MOPS mom to:
- Volunteer in the childcare ministry one Tuesday each semester. This service will occur on the opposite Tuesday of the MOPS meeting so that no MOPS meeting will be missed.
- Bring treats two times each semester
- Assist with set-up, greeting, or clean-up one time per semester.

Registration brochures may also be found on the Ministry Information Center walls near the entrances at Grace Church. Or, call the Grace MOPS Information Line at 952-224-3188 to receive a registration brochure through the mail.
The deadline for registration is September 1, 2009, or once the childcare ministry has filled to capacity. If your registration is received after this point, your name may be placed on a wait list until an opening becomes available.

Bible Study Offered on Opposite Tuesday of MOPS
This spring, an optional Bible study will be offered for registered MOPS moms on the opposite Tuesday of MOPS. Participation in the Bible study is optional. A separate material fee of $15 will be charged to those who register for this option.
Optional Bible Study:
This spring, we will be offering "He Speaks to Me" from Priscilla Shirer. The study will draw life lessons from the account of God speaking to the boy Samuel. Priscilla relates six characteristics found in Samuel that are applicable to women today as they tune their hearts to hear God's voice. By listening to God's voice and obeying Him, women will be drawn into a closer relationship to God that brings a deeper desire to serve Him faithfully.
To register for this Bible study, indicate so when registering for MOPS.
