In our second semester of Bible study, we will enjoy the live teaching of Jennie Coughlin on the book of Ephesians, a letter of encouragement to a young New Testament church. As Paul addresses the church as a body, a temple, a bride and a soldier we will see how the Lord challenges and empowers us to live victoriously as essential parts of His Church. As you study these books be prepared for gripping and graphic portrayals of both God and man. The setting of these books may be ancient, but their message is modern. Join one of our mentoring opportunities while having your children taught in our Children’s Program. This is ideal for younger women who are eager to learn from the wisdom and experience of older women. In this small group discipleship format, you will be using the Real Faith material which covers topics such as security of salvation, forgiveness, your identity in Christ and living with an eternal perspective. It has become clear that the lies Christian women believe are at the root of many of their struggles. This book, having sold over 800,000 copies, exposes the common lies about God, sin, priorities, family, emotions and more. The study deals honestly with women’s delusions and illusions and then gently leads to the truth of God’s word that sets them free.
Newcomers are very welcome as we return to this study begun in the fall with a video by Alicia Chole entitled “Enthroning Truth.” The remaining weeks of the study will include your personal study and group discussions each week as you continue in the book, Lies Women Believe.
