AWANA is our Wednesday program for children.
We have groups and activities
for 3-year-olds through 6th graders during the school year.
AWANA is currently on break for the summer.

AWANA has two offerings to choose from:
- Wednesday after-school option
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
For age 3 through 2nd grade
- Wednesday evening option
6:45 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
For age 3 through 6th grade

Q & A About Our New AWANA Offerings:
Why are we offering an after-school Awana program?
- Room to Grow: For more children to be involved we needed to think creatively how to use and multiply the space we have. An additional time offering creates that space.
- Needs of Children: We are responding to the concern that parents have expressed about the lateness of the evening for their younger children. By offering an additional after-school program, families who otherwise would not attend due to the late evening have an option to attend.
- Quality of our programming: Children learn best in an ordered, relational environment. By offering an additional program option, we can provide a more relational experience while still growing the number of children participating.
Can my child attend either Awana time; after-school or evening?
You CHOOSE which program time works best for you and your family! However, you must attend the club and time you register for. The after-school program is offered for Cubbies and Sparks (through grade 2). For the evening program, T & T will now include 5th- 6th grade (in addition to 3rd - 4th grade) for students who wish to pursue the Awana Timothy Award. The WAVE will meet at 6:45 p.m. Students still have the option of pursing the Timothy Award during this time along with their WAVE studies. Nursery will be available for children of AWANA workers only.
The after-school club option is dependent on sign-ups and adequate staffing - so consider joining the team!
